Dom has been involved in
IT
training since 1999,
generally focused on the delivery of MS Office and web &
graphics applications.
Joining Ashbury Training in December 2008, his recent
experience as a Training Project
Leader, saw him managing trainers to provide
task-based solutions to a variety of high profile clients.
These ranged from national
charities, government
agencies, and
international organisations within the
banking and
finance sector.
Dom is a natural problem solver
who relishes a challenge, which is often demonstrated across
his professional and personal life; from his keen interest
in delivering 'workshop'-based classroom sessions, through
to his love of jigsaw puzzles, Sudoku and logic quizzes.
A keen sportsman, Dom is a passionate Leicester City
supporter, and a dedicated player-manager for his Saturday
team, SouthBank Cuaco. He also enjoys boxing, rally driving
and the odd game of tennis!
His passion for sport is
mirrored by his passion for
training, where he brings a 'building block'
approach to his classroom-based training. This ethos within
his delivery style allows
his delegates to gain a
good foundation
understanding of all learning topics - from Introduction to
Advanced level courses.
Dom’s exposure to clients across various industry sectors
has often required him to work with, and deliver training on
many bespoke software applications. His
ability to
quickly learn new systems
and understand the respective client market and working
practices, allows him to pitch training courses at the right
level, and build a
good rapport with his
delegates. |
